• Came across Bob heading to L Street church to get breakfast. Gave him our packet of $10 bill/$10 DK card and prayer card. Also gave him socks and gloves. We talked about Jim’s passing. Gave him Jim’s mass card. He thanked us and said “God bless”.
• Came across H&L couple. They were sad they had to put their dog down. Gave them our packet of $10 bill/$10 DK card and prayer card. Gave L a sweater vest and some socks. Gave H hoodie and Jim’s mass card. Told them Jim loved them both. God bless.
• Came across Andrew standing at street light. Asked if he needed help. He said “yes”. Gave him our packet of $10 bill/$10 DK card and prayer card. Wished him well. He was so happy for packet.
• Came across M. She appeared to be cold. We offered her a woman’s coat (which fit perfect), gloves and socks along with our packet of $10 bill/$10 DK card and prayer card. She was very appreciative. God bless.
• Ran into our friend Russell. The only thing he needed was our packet of $10 bill/$10 DK card and prayer card. He mentioned he wanted another packet for his friend Andrew but he wasn’t around. Told him we would swing around again.
• We came across Fred again. A very polite man. He remembered we had given him a pair of gloves a couple of weeks ago. Asked if he needed any clothes, hats, etc. He refused. We gave him our packet of $10 bill/$10 DK card and prayer card. He was very appreciative of the $10 DK card. Wished him well.
