But Many That are First Shall be Last and Last First”

Mark-10-31 “But many that are first shall be last and last first”.

• Today we had the privilege of serving 25 of God’s people. A lot of our people were in need of gloves and some hats/coats/sweatshirts. We gave them all we had. A lot of the gloves we had given to them were stolen shortly after. The streets sometimes have no creed to live by. We were happy to provide them with new ones.
• We ran into one of our regular guys (Ray) who looked down while he pushed his wheelchair. I asked how he was doing and he replied he felt sick. Gave him our packet of $10 bill/$10 DK card and prayer card.
• Psalm 3-5. “I lie down and sleep; I wake again because the Lord sustains me”.
• We came across Mary again and asked how she was. She replied she was in pain with an abscessed tooth. She still had on the coat we gave her last week. We asked if she needed anything else. She replied “no”. We gave her our packet of $10 bill/$10 DK card and prayer card. We told her we will see her again and God bless. The coldness of the weather and coldness of the street was written in her eyes.
• We handed out 25 packets of $10 bill/$10 DK card and prayer card along with hats, gloves, socks, men’s coats, women’s coats, sweatshirts, thermal vests, oreo cookie packs with some of Jim’s mass cards. We were just messengers/vessels of Jesus today. How lucky are we to be Christ’s vessels.
